Midwest Health Benefits offers Group Plans:

Health Insurance
Health insurance is one of the hottest topics among employers and employees today.  With a wide array of options available, we’ll help you find the insurance arrangement that fits your business.

Life Insurance
Group life insurance allows an employer to provide life insurance benefits to employees and their families.  Life insurance helps alleviate financial burdens and support mortgage payments, college funds or daily living expenses for your employee’s survivors.  And it only takes a modest investment on the part of the employer.

Short and Long Term Disability Insurance
An accident or illness can keep employees away from work for an extended period of time.  Disability insurance will help provide replacement income for the employee, lessening the financial stress of such an event.

Dental Insurance
From routine exams to root canals, dental insurance can help offset these expenses for your employees.  Dental insurance can be available as an employer-sponsored benefit or a voluntary (employee-paid) program.  Even orthodontic coverage is available for many businesses.

Voluntary Products (special risk)
Voluntary products are group insurance plans, but the employer does not pay for them.  Each employee chooses if they wish to participate and pay the cost, but they reap the benefits of group rates and convenient payroll deductions.  Voluntary products can in clued dental insurance, supplemental insurance (such as cancer or accident policies) and more.

Pre-Paid Legal Services / Identity Theft
Available on either a voluntary or employer-paid basis, this coverage monitors the credit of employees to catch identity theft early and help employees fight back.  Pre-paid legal services can offer advice on a variety of topic from wills to audits to defective products.

Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible Spending Accounts offer a way for employees to set aside money on a pre-tax basis that can be used for qualified medical expenses, vision expenses, dental expenses and daycare expenses.  It also provides the vehicle through which insurance premiums can be paid on a pre-tax basis.

Health Savings Accounts
A Health Savings Account provides a way for the employee and/or the employer to set aside funds on a tax-advantaged basis to be used by the employee for qualified medical expenses.  The money can be used as soon as it’s deposited, or left to accumulate from year to year.  There is no “use it or lose it” rule with Health Savings Accounts!

Health Reimbursement Arrangements
Health Reimbursement Arrangements provide a tax-advantaged account through which employers can “buy down” the deductible for their employees.  Employers determine how much of the deductible to fund and how much money the employee can roll over into the next year, if applicable.

We are here to assist you with selecting a benefit package and then administering your plan once it’s in place.  We gladly work with your human resources director on enrollment, COBRA, questions about the plan, billing issues and more.  We also welcome questions from employees on plan benefits, network status, or bills from providers.
